Wade Tinney, CEO Large Animal Games
"Computer Games"
Wade will talk about the evolution of Large Animal Games, over the past 8 years. Focus will be on the products we've created and the business around different types of game development/distribution, with a particular emphasis on our current focus: social network games.
Bio:
Wade Tinney is a founding partner and the CEO of independent game developer Large Animal Games. Large Animal was founded in January of 2001 by partners Josh Welber and Wade Tinney, both graduates of the MFA program in interactive design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. The mission of Large Animal is to make games that are easy to learn and fun for all sorts of players, even those who don't really think of themselves as gamers. Wade is also the president of the New York City Chapter of The International Game Developers Association (IGDA), a nonprofit membership organization that advocates globally on issues related to digital game creation and unites the game development community.
